1. Introduction
Please read these terms of sales carefully. You will be asked to expressly agree to these terms before you place your order for products from our website.

2. Making a purchase
The advertising of products on our website constitutes an “invitation to treat”; and your order for products constitutes a contractual offer. No contract will come into force between you and us unless and until we accept your order in accordance with the procedure detailed below.

In these terms and conditions of sale “You/the Buyer” means the person who accepts a quotation of the seller for the sale of goods or whose order for the goods is accepted by the seller. “Us/The Seller” means Box o’ Sox.
In order to enter into a contract to purchase products from us, you will need to proceed with the following:- (i) if you are a new customer you must create an account with us and log in. If you are an existing customer just login and proceed. (ii) You may then browse the products available and add items you wish to purchase into your shopping cart, then proceed to the checkout. (iii) Once you have confirmed your order, consented to the Terms and Conditions you will be transferred to the PayPal website and PayPal will handle your payment. (iiii) You will then receive an initial acknowledgement; and (v) once we have checked your order is available we will either send your order confirmation (which will then be a binding contract) or we will advise by email that we are unable to supply your order.
We will not file a copy of these terms of sale specifically in relation to your order. We may update the version of these terms of sale on the website from time to time and we do not guarantee that the version you have agreed to will remain accessible. We therefore recommend that you download, print and retain a copy of these terms of sale for your records.
The only language we provide these Terms of Sale is English.

3. Cancellation
Whilst you are protected by The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, please be aware that full & complete cancellation without charge can only be accepted if you order has NOT been despatched.
Once your order has been despatched, cancellation may be made within seven days (as specified in the aforementioned Regulations) but (a) the cost of shipping the order to you in NOT refundable (and, if by virtue of the order value, you were not charged for delivery, the cost of this may be charged additionally: (b) we do not refund the cost of your returning goods to us.
Under the Regulations you have a duty to protect our goods whilst in your possession and to ensure adequate packing & protection in sending them back to us.(See returns policy, below)

4. Returns Policy
If you wish to return your goods for refund undamaged/perfect items that were originally ordered by you legitimately & in good faith then you may do so. AT YOUR EXPENSE* within thirty days. The returned item(s) must be in the same condition as when you received them and suitable for resale. Items that are soiled, damaged, used, removed from their original packaging(where original packaging was sealed) OR missing their original packaging where that packaging was specific to the item (e.g.bubble packs, printed boxes.) cannot be accepted for return. Items that appear to have been USED will not be accepted for return.
Items you are returning must be adequately packed and protected having regard to the manner in which you received them and the method by which you are returning them** refund will only be given for complete and undamaged items.

Refunds will be made (a) in the amount that you were originally charged for the item(s) EXCLUDING the cost of postage & packing/carriage charges either charged to you or incurred by us for the purpose of sending them to you (b) excluding the cost of your returning them to us (c) in the same manner as you originally made payment to us (d) within thirty days of our receipt of the returned item9S0. Please ensure that returned items are clearly labelled with your name, address and original order number or Invoice number.
*Above: in the case of items supplied incorrectly, return costs will be refunded, where we require the item(s) to be returned
** Please contact us for instructions as to the method by which we require the goods to be returned-this will be by the most cost effective method for us. Should goods be returned WITHOUT prior consultation, by a non cost-effective method, e.g.by Royal Mail Special delivery. Same Day Courier.etc the cost over and above that which we would normally incur WILL NOT be refunded.

5. The products
All socks will arrive in a box or package to protect them from damage.

6. Price and payment
Prices for products are quoted on our website. The website contains a selection of items from other sources and it is always possible that some of the prices on the website may be incorrect. We will verify prices as part of our sale procedures so that a product’s correct price will be stated.
In addition to the price of the goods a delivery charge will be added when you pay for the product.
The prices on our website include all value added taxes.
Payment for all products must be made by a credit or debit card through PayPal, OR any alternative method detailed on the website from time to time.
Prices for products are liable to change at any time.

7. Tax Charges
There is no tax added to our products.

8. Delivery
We will arrange for the delivery of your order to the full address given at the time of your order.
We will use reasonable endeavours to deliver products on or before the date of delivery set out in our order confirmation or, if no date is set out in our order confirmation, within 3 working days of the date of our order confirmation. However we cannot guarantee delivery by the relevant date. We do however guarantee that unless there are exceptional circumstances all deliveries of products will be despatch within 7 working days of the later of receipt of payment and the date of our order confirmation.
Once processed, most orders are despatch by first class post. Monday to Thursday for delivery 1-2 days later.

Please note the following a. Orders placed before 2pm Monday to Thursday, goods in stock, will be despatched the same day. Any urgency must be indicated at the time of order. You may telephone to confirm this.
b. Next Day/am deliveries can be arranged at extra charge.

9. Damaged items
• Please check your goods immediately on receipt
• Claim for items damaged in transit MUST be received within three days of your receipt, so that we may claim from the carrier
• Claims CANNOT be accepted after this time.

10. Short delivery and omissions
In the unlikely event of a picking error on our part, please notify us within three working days.

• Missing items MUST be reported within three days of your receipt, so that we may check our stock records before they are archived.
• Claims CANNOT be accepted after this time.

11. Product warranties
We warrant to you that all the products purchased from our website will:
a. Confirm in all material respects to any applicable specification of such products and
b. Be free from material defects in materials
For the avoidance of doubt, above warranties do not cover any defect in the products arising from fair wear and tear, wilful damage, accident, negligence by you or a third party, use otherwise than in accordance with the manufacturer’s or our instructions or recommendations, or any alteration carried out by you or a third party.

12. General Terms
Images of products on our website are for illustrative purposes only; actual products may differ from such images.
We will treat all your personal information that we collect in connection with your order in accordance with our privacy policy;
These terms of sale will be governed by and construed in accordance with English Law, and the courts of England and Wales will have non-exclusive jurisdiction to adjudicate any dispute arising under or in relation to these terms of sale.

13. Credit Card security
When an order is placed at our website, your credit/debit card processing is handles by PayPal on our behalf. Your card date is not put into our website in any form and we do not have access to the information.

14. Privacy policy
Data collected by this website is used for:-
a. The taking and fulfilling of orders placed by customers
b. Administering and enhancing the site and our full service offered-in order to better customer’s future experience.
c. The issue of a unique identifier for customer login
d. Goods delivery purposes, to which end third-party carrier services must be informed-without which you would not receive your purchases
e. Occasionally informing you of our products via email newsletters-from which you may unsubscribe at any time.
